22 Jul Chris Campbell
Chris Campbell is currently the Senior Director of Grid Modernization Services at Salt River Project and is responsible for SRP’s electric distribution system and telecommunication networks. This includes responsibility for development and execution of the grid modernization strategy to prepare the grid for the high penetrations of distributed energy resources and growing electrification initiatives. He is on the Board of Directors for the Utility Technology Council (UTC) and a member of the Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Information, Communications and Cyber Security (ICCS) Program council.
Throughout his career, Chris has been focused on the application of information and operational technology for effective operation of electric grids. He has been with SRP since graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1989. He is also a native of Arizona and an avid outdoorsman. He is blessed to be married to his wife Lisa for 23 years and has two amazing daughters.
