Bill Strohecker is the Country managing director for Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Canada. He was previously the senior vice president, sales and marketing in Canada. Prior, Bill led sales and marketing for ABB Australia’s power grids division, and prior, the USA power grids strategic accounts program. On joining ABB in 2006, he organized and executed our sales activities for the company’s power generation sales in America. With more than thirty years of utility and industry experience, Bill previously held leadership positions with companies that serve the power industry- as chief operating officer for Peerless Manufacturing Co., an environmental controls company, and as founding executive and president at Doosan HF Controls, a manufacturer of safety related control systems for nuclear power plants. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Mansfield University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Married with three adult children, Bill resides in Montreal Quebec.
