With more than 25 years of experience analyzing data, Carol Bogacz serves Burns & McDonnell as an associate data scientist. Her responsibilities include using advanced statistical techniques to identify key metrics needed to drive effective business decisions. Carol has experience applying both supervised and unsupervised machine learning models to different types of data such as time series and spatial data to solve real world business problems. For over 17 years, Carol has served as an adjunct professor of mathematics and statistics at various universities. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Truman State University and a master’s degree in statistics from Iowa State University.
