Dax Streater is currently the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy and Operations at LCRA where he directs the organization’s cybersecurity risk, operations, and architecture functions.  Dax leads the implementation of LCRA’s cybersecurity framework ensuring a risk-based approach to protecting LCRA’s critical assets and the vital services they provide.  Prior to LCRA, Dax directed IT infrastructure systems and security for the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Dax’s leadership experience in both the critical infrastructure and public safety sectors provides a unique perspective on technology as a force multiplier and the associated risks.  He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in computer science, holds multiple cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and is an active member of numerous critical infrastructure and cybersecurity organizations.
