John works as Technology & Business Development Manager for ABB’s Grid Automa@on business line. John has a Bachelor’s Degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He joined ABB in 1995 and has held a number of senior management posi@ons in soJware development, product management, and R&D within ABB. John was instrumental in leading the business line Product Management team as well as a Global Product Group for Communica@on Networks during a @me when there were several new acquisi@ons of soJware and wireless companies. He also has deep domain exper@se aJer spending @me working within ABB’s Corporate Research organiza@on.
