Kip is a senior executive with more than 15 years of experience in the utility and IoT sectors, delivering customer-focused solutions for data collection, communication, and sensing. At Xage Security, Kip is responsible for business development and strategic initiatives for utilities and smart cities. Prior to Xage Security, Kip held executive positions in marketing and product management at Networked Energy Services and Itron, delivering some of the first IoT networks and critical operational management, security, and analytical software for the utility industry worldwide. Before joining industry, Kip was a commissioned officer in the United State Air Force, responsible for the management of research projects and delivering new capabilities to the US Space Command operational units. Kip earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Information Systems from The Citadel, as well as an MBA from Gonzaga University.
