Rhiannon Gainor

Rhiannon has worked in private, nonprofit, and government sectors in a variety of roles that all revolve around information, records, and data management, including data quality control, usability testing, policy research, training, and documentation. Her joint Masters of Arts and Masters of Library and Information Studies thesis was focused on identifying factors affecting the creation of information resources that could be applied to improving employee contributions to institutional repositories. Her doctoral program, in Information Studies, was an examination of how performance measures can be applied to determine the value of information. She has published and presented in international journals and conferences and was formerly a lecturer on the topic of information agency management at the University of McGill in Montreal. She is now the Enterprise Data Architect at the Lower Colorado River Authority, where she works with a multidisciplinary team in converging technology planning, user expectations, and business needs.
