S. Craig Oldham

Craig Oldham began his career in the Army serving in the Infantry and Armour Corps before becoming a member of Canada’s Counter-Terrorism and Special Operations unit, Joint Task Force 2 finishing his military career in the Directorate of Counter-Terrorism and Special Operations.

When the Canadian Government created the Government Operation Centre (GOC) in 2004, Craig joined Public Safety Canada to work establishing, and then becoming Director General of, the GOC which, on behalf of the Government of Canada, leads and supports response coordination of events affect the national interest.

In 2017, Craig became the Director General, Critical Infrastructure within Public Safety Canada where he is responsible for exercising national leadership in the domain of Critical Infrastructure (CI) developing and implementing policies and programs strengthening Canada’s CI resilience in cooperation with all partners.
